I found Odesi a wonderful tool which can as much help one think outside of the box regarding the application of music theory in addition to the ability to go for the tried and true progressions.
I was wondering whether it will ever be possible to use Odesi as a quick. compositional tool without an internet connection. Scenarios for why one might want to use Odesi without an internet connection:
Busy Producer/DJ on a long distance international flight.
Composer on location in an exotic and off-the-grid locale for inspiration.
Producer staying productive on a laptop during a blackout or power outage.
etc.....
I'd love to be able to use this on flights but wow, if I have an internet connection why do I need the Mac app at all other than the ability to play sounds from audio units/VSTs etc?
